CD/DVD Drive NOT Connected

I'm running ESXi 6.5 and for some reason, I can't get a CD/DVD Driver to say connected.  Ideally, I'd connect it to an ISO, but as a workaround, I tried inserting a DVD into the host drive.  Regardless, I can't figure out how to make it say connected and actually boot the iso or the DVD to build a new VM. 

This is the first vm I'm deploying on this clean install of 6.5??

Any idea why this would be happening and how to resolve would be appreciated.
