VM Slow SSD Performance

Hi All,

I have some performance issues with one of our Server. The problem is very slow disk performance. HD Tune - are showing ~5-6MB/s for reading.

This is the server configuration:

Server: HP DL360e G8

Raid Controller: Dynamic Smart Array B120i

1 Array from 2 SSD (400GB) in RAID1, with more than 20% free space on datastore

OS: VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-Update3-6765206-HPE-600.10.1.5.19-Oct2017

On this host, I have 2 VM's - both with Windows Server 2008R2 and latest updates installed (Vmware Tools installed).  Servers were working fine for more than 1 year and a few days ago I received a lot of complaints from our employees that software is running very slow. I start to analyze the load on the server and find out that disk speed is very slow.

I added another 2 new SSD's and made new datastore. What is very strange for me is if I'm adding a new disk in one of this 2 VM's - the speed of this disk is normally, but if I'm copying one VM from old datastore to the new datastore - the speed is low like it was on the old datastore. So, I guess that problem is not on physical disks, but in the partition from VM. What can be the problem and how I can solve it?

Thank you.
