Notify vapp owner of specific alert type

I have a pretty straightforward environment, vrops 6.6 monitors vcenter and vcloud and collect stats and metrics. I want to notify the vapp owner of a virtual machine that triggered the GuestOutOfDiskSpace vROPS alert. I was playing around with http://pierrelx.com custom rest plugin to send a call to VRO workflow or SNMP traps doing the same scenario, but cannot easily obtain the vapp owner from the alarm input.

Any recommendations or insights will be appreciated.
