Hi
I am a little puzzled because it is trying to assign a user group dummy to your pool.

I would also like to point out that IPv6 seems to be enabled

Can you disable IPv6 on client? This may not be related but still you may want to just to eliminate a variable.
Whats the OS on client?
The assertion error means there was a problem loading the VDI plugin that reads the watermark. Did this VM had a pre-installed VIewPlanner client?
I am speculating here, but from what I understand is, View Client could authenticate with the broker but ended up not finding any pool that the user is entitled too.
In View UI, Do you see a user group entitled to the pool?
Thanks
