I'm having the same problem as iMike ... Unity switch crashes Win 7-64 Premium, which is a newly installed VM under Fusion 6.0.2 and Mac OS 10.9.2. I have reinstalled VMWare Tools, etc,, multiple times, rebooted again and again. I have also created a new VM, started fresh and reinstalled Windows. In the Fusion menu, under "Window," it says "no windows" for this VM, and I am unable to activate Windows at all. Error log zip file is attached. I would GREATLY appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!
FOLLOW-UP ... I found this post in another thread, and it restored Unity for me! So far, so good.

1 Go to Virtual machine menu > Settings > Default Applications
Disable Open your Mac files and web links by using Windows applications
restart windows
it solved issue on XP
