I also had a question about ip assignments to the internal interface on the edge appliance.
Uplink interface is connected to 10.20.181.0/24 network with access to corporate network. In this example, we are going to load balance HTTP and HTTPS traffic to two internal web servers (192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3) using an external virtual address (10.20.181.170). I am assuming that the .1 address for the 192.168.1.0/24 is 192.168.1.1.
Would 192.168.1.1 be the actual gateway for the 192.168.1.0/24 network or is 192.168.1.1 a randomly selected IP address that you assign to the internal interface?
