I have a single Fusion virtual machine installed on my Mac dedicated to Windows. When I originally installed this VM selected a 100GB partition on a Mac with a 750 GB hard drive. I now have a Mac with a 256 GB SSD. Disk space is getting tight and I would like to modify the amount taken by the VM.
Questions:
- When viewing disk storage statistics, is the number reported in "Other" based on the entire 100GB partition or just the amount actually used by the virtual machine, in my case about 48 GB?
- What is the best way to reduce the size of the partition? Guessing create a new one and delete the old?
