Ever since I've upgraded to a 4k monitor I've always had graphics related performance issues. I am running a R7 200 OCed to 1ghz, 28gb ram, i5 2500k OCed to 4.3ghz. My 4k monitor is infact a TV and therefore I am relying on HDMI @30hz. Running a youtube video in 4k fullscreen on my vmware workstation causes jittering (I have allocated 1GB graphics memory to this particular vm). It was pretty bad on workstation 10 but has improved significantly on workstation 12 but its still a little jittery.
Is this issue a driver issue or must I upgrade my hardware to get rid of this problem ?
