The reason for the drag and drop was to avoid launching the virtual machine. I looked and finally noticed that the File menu has "Open" and also has "Open and Run...", so I learned something new. Thanks wila!
AGoodSon: Just be sure you DO NOT use "Open and Run..." if you want to check the hardware version before you launch the virtual machine. Good luck!
