Can you please point to some tutorial which can help us here?
As I can see we should do following steps:
1. Install Vmware WS
2. Setup ESXi in to VM (link: https://youtu.be/qEpI4vqKkes)
3. Install ESXi Embedded Host Client in ESXi VM
4. Open TCP Port for management from extern (optional)
5. And ???
5a. Can I manage WS from ESXi Embedded Host Client?
5b. Do I intend to run our VMs existing VMs in side of ESXi?
5c. Other ???

Another update that doesn't fix this, but it might be useful for other people to know anyways. As WSX seems to be a dead end I've checked other possibilities and one of them is far better than WSX altogether and it's called ESXi Embedded Host Client: https://labs.vmware.com/flings/esxi-embedded-host-clientESXi Embedded Host Client – VMware Labs
Granted, you have to install ESXi to be able to use it, but it's *much* better than WSX, more features and faster. A nice thing what you could do is a nested ESXi installation in VMWare Workstation Pro. This works real smooth here.
