Thanks for the prompt response.
I thought the VMtools upgrade issue will also get fixed by VDI upgrade. Is that not so? Do we still have to do the Uninstall Tools, Agent and Reinstall on all the VMs.
Becoz all our Manual and Automated Desktops have outdated VMtools. We didn't upgrade as it will take long time to upgrade by this lengthy process.
I was hoping, this method will work, after VDI upgrade.
1. Manual Pools - Just upgrade the VMtools Directly and then upgrade the Agent later as time permits.(not following the tools uninstall, agent uninstall, agent install, tools install).
2. Automated Pools - Update VMtools directly, upgrade View Agent and take a snapsot.Use this snapshot to recompose the pools.
Please help me if this process works or let me know if I have to make any changes to the above steps.
