Multiple dvSwitch - good or bad practice

Hello Experts,

Just would like to know if it is a good practice to create multiple dvSwitches in a datacenter., for example , I have backup network(contains backup VLANs), production network(contains production VLANs) and Management network( for vMotion and Management Interface). Should I create 3 dvSwitch for these 3 networks or should I create one dvSwitch with port groups for all the VLANs.

Any advice will be very helpful.
