Not really, these type of issues have plagued the shared folders option for many years.
Shared folders work for simple file sharing, but if you want to use it as project folder in Visual Studio then what you are seeing is not exactly unexpected.
Yes you can troubleshoot it and spent a lot of time in trying to make it work. That might or might not work.
However the general recommendation is to use industry standard file sharing -for example native Windows shares- instead of the built in share option if you want to use it for this type of scenario.
Another common solution is to develop locally within the VM and share with other computers using source control systems.
