I'm running the free version of ESXi 5.1 U1 and have a 80 GB thin provisioned VM on local storage. It says 80 GB in the settings page in vSphere client and in Windows Disk Management, but in the summary tab under resources in vSphere client, it says 84.59 GB. I double checked and don't have any snapshots. Anyone have any ideas why the numbers don't match? It's driving me crazy.
