VMware Home Lab spec to study with

Hello guys!

I'm a VCA-DCV, I'm now going to study for the VCP5-DCV and I'd like to setup an home lab to study with. I wish I could have some opinion regarding the setup I have in mind

I go a DELL POWEREDGE 1950 R2 with the following specs:

2x Quad-Core Xeon E5310 1.6 GHz

1x 146GB SAS 15k

16GB DDR2 667MHz

2x Gigabit NICs

This rack is connected to my home network with a simple Wireless router (so I'm only using one rack NIC with 192.168.0.0/24)

My ideal setup to start playing around with vmware is:

ESXi 5.5 installed on the rack that runs from an 8GB usb drive

3x ESXi 5.5 virtual hosts VMs

1x Win2012 R2 Domain Controller + DNS + DHCP (dc.mylab.local) VM

1x Win2012 R2 vCenter Server (vc.mylab.local) VM

1x FreeNAS VM

Then I'm going to spawn 3 Linux/Win VMs on each ESXi virtual vm

I'm not going to make heavy use of these vms, just starting them to play with vmware features and to study the components.

So the questions:

Will this rack support this load/configuration?

Which vSphere features I won't be able to try out?

How about configuring the network?

Thanks a lot in advance for the reply
