Well since you didn't provide the ipconfig info André requested there wasn't enough information to analyze however clicking the Restore Default button will uninstall/reinstall the VMware Virtual Network Infrastructure and may help clear up the issue.

That depends on how one looks at it. IMO yes, because I've seen it cause to many issues when mucking with the defaults. If you only ever want to use Host-only then okay however I would have just removed VMnet8 and VMnet0 leaving the default VMnet1 Host-only and using that.
