That might work except when we use Log Off, the terminal reconnects so quickly that it doesnt actually trigger a refresh. It just logs you right back in to where you were.
We have the terminals set in the classrom to auto connect, then auto login upon boot up to save as few clicks and keyboard typing as possible.
Our only current work around would be to disable auto login, but our faculty complains that it takes long enough as is to restart computers to clean them from the last class to have to go back through them all again just to hit the connect button because they won't refresh properly.
I would prefer to know why the VMware system is not doing what it's supposed to do rather than use a work around anyways. But thanks for the idea!
