Current status and responses to your questions:
- This morning I installed a new Trusteer Rapport download, after shutting down Windows and restarting the Mac. So, Windows had been running continuously for more than 6 days without a Panic restart.
- No sign of a restart so far, but too early to say if this version of Rapport will work fine.
- I checked the install logs again, and could not see anything interesting around the time the problem began in October. As mentioned before, the only thing I can recall is installing Windows updates prior to the restarts.
- Yes, the keyboard is original, from April 2012. The batteries were replaced recently, but must have been in good condition most of the time the system restarted.
- I will admit to using a Microsoft mouse on the Mac! The original cordless mouse died a long time ago, and we found the plug-in mouse lighter and easier to use - we have a Trackpad as well.
- I have opened a case with Trusteer. They had not heard of such a problem, so I reinstalled the product to see if it happens again.
