The problem is that you are allowing certain things to be overridden or even added by creating property definitions and configuring them on the blueprint to prompt the user, but when you use that blueprint in app director you lose the ability even in app director to present the user with those prompts, you can enter memory, vcpu, and hostname manually. You can specify the overrides on the template but that is very manual. then when you publish the app deployment to vcac there is no user interaction. this means that if i want to be able to deploy a windows vm on any of 10 different networks i need an app blueprint for every single one of those. the amount of blueprints quickly gets out of hand.
